The spacey trance/acid sound was the highlight of the underground rave circuit in the midwest in the mid nineties. Innovative, intelligent, and just forwarding thinking without respect to good/evil/plur/unplur- just straight pushing the mind into the next dimension.

thoughts:
I got into the Atmospheric DnB style late in the game (circa 2002). It was a style of music that didn’t see a ton of action on west coast of California by that time. Sure, Blame and LTJ Bukem rolled through the scene and played the massive venues but as a style in the clubs it was a rare one. Pretty yet moving, chill but up-beat, it was and is amazing on a huge sound system.

A good chunk of this set comes from Ms. E’s collection. She one day decided to unload a ton of her vinyl and I was offered a chance to dig through and grab whatever I wanted. Em… thank you for this. I still think you are crazy for offering up your music but I am still trying to put it to good use six years later.
